<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To user-friendly cope with a printing request of satisfying no printing restricting condition. <P>SOLUTION: A request accepting processing part 14 compares a printing attribute designated in the printing request sent from a client 6 with the printing restricting condition set in a printer and a printing restricting condition database 12. An inquiry processing part 16 informs the client 6 of the effect when the printing request does not coincides with the condition, and presents a changing candidate for a noncoincident condition. A request optimization processing part 18 corrects the printing request 26 by the changing content sent from the client 6.
