PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine how memory cards are used among many hosts.

SOLUTION: This system and method for storing memory card using states information in the memory cards comprises a component 10 for storing the information on the using states, a component 20 for recording the information on the using states in the region of the memory card, and a component 30 for accessing to the information on the using states.
