<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening protecting device which is constructed at low cost and exhibits a high operability and by which the flexibility of passage can be ensured. <P>SOLUTION: Taped parts supplying devices 28 are partially provided in a concentrated manner in detachable openings 24 of a parts supplying stage 23 of a parts mounting system 20, and gap openings 32 are formed in parts where no devices are provided. Dummy parts supplying devices 33 (33a and 33b) provided with reflecting mirrors 34 are provided in both ends of the parts 31 of concentrative provision. Each reflective mirror 34 makes the sensor light 26 from a light emitting part 25A of an area sensor 25 change its path for detouring in the back of the detachable opening 24 in the concentrated provision parts 31 of the taped parts supplying system 28, and passing in front of the detachable opening 24 in the gap openings 32. A parts reel 29 are out of the light path of the sensor light 26 and can be changed while a parts mounting system 20 is operating.
