PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing load and a memory capacity related to generation of a stereoscopic image.

SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image generating part 230 sets tentative visual point sub-pixel values as stereoscopic vision sub-pixels for positions deflected in accordance with visual points and parallax information corresponding to the respective stereoscopic vision sub-pixels. The stereoscopic image generating part 230 complements the stereoscopic vision sub-pixels to which the values of the tentative visual point sub-pixels are not set in the stereoscopic image 24. The stereoscopic image 24 is displayed in a display part 30 provided with a lenticular plate.
