PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to use a gate line and an accumulation capacity line as an optical cutoff film, equalize accumulation capacity, and adjust the level of the accumulation capacity. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of data lines(10) are crossed with a plurality of data lines(18). A plurality of TFTs(Thin Film Transistors) are formed in crossed portions of the gate lines(18) and the data lines(10). A pixel electrode(16) is electrically connected with a drain electrode(14) of the TFT. At least one accumulation capacity line has the first portion horizontal with the data lines(10). The accumulation capacity line is formed following a peripheral portion of the pixel electrode(16). The entire width of a part of the first portion of the accumulation capacity line is covered by the pixel electrode(16). At least a part of a pixel electrode boundary line is located between the data lines(10) and the accumulation capacity line.
