PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup method, an image pickup system, an image pickup control server, and an image pickup program which enable a user to safely and surely pick up the image of a peripheral scene or the like with an image pickup device mounted on his or her vehicle even during driving.

SOLUTION: On-vehicle equipment 1 provided on a vehicle 100 picks up a wide-range image and extracts an image in a desired narrow range from the picked-up wide-range image on the basis of an indication from a mobile terminal 2.
