摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a nickel hydrogen storage battery using a hydrogen occlusion alloy electrode in a negative electrode finishing initial formation in a short time, and having high rate discharge performance and cycle characteristics not inferior to an existing nickel hydrogen storage battery. <P>SOLUTION: As a hydrogen occlusion alloy powder for the hydrogen occlusion alloy electrode, hydrogen occlusion alloy powder having an average particle size of 13-25μm and to which surface reforming treatment is preformed, and hydrogen occlusion alloy powder having an average particle size of 30-50μm and to which the surface reforming treatment is not performed are mixed so that the ratio of the hydrogen occlusion alloy powder to which the surface reforming treatment is not performed is present in a range of 20-80 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p>
