PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive/negative alternating electrode for a multi- electrode high voltage field generating device capable of achieving ultralightness of electrodes by using conductive carbon resin of an extremely small specific gravity, with a specific gravity of 1.6, among material that can be easily obtained in the market, as a base material in place of stainless steel. SOLUTION: This positive/negative alternating electrode for a multi-electrode high voltage field generating device is provided with an ultralight electrode 9 of conductive carbon resin held by plural insulation support members 1-3 fixed to holding rods 4, 5, 6 and 7 in a skeleton structure.
