PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oscillator having a wide variable range of oscillation frequency. SOLUTION: The oscillator comprises a first and second resistance- capacitance blocks composed of voltage-controlled capacitance elements showing a capacitance value according to a control voltage, a first and second capacitance elements connected to both ends of the voltage-controlled capacitance element, and a first and second resistance elements connected to the connections of the first and second capacitance elements and the voltage-controlled capacitance element, output terminals, two inductor elements parallel connected to the resistance-capacitance blocks, a pair of transistors the collector of which is connected to the first capacitance element of one resistance-capacitance block, the base of which is connected to the second capacitance element of the other resistance-capacitance block, and the emitters of which are mutually connected, a first power terminal connected to the inductor elements, a current source connected to the emitters, a second power terminal connected to the power source and the first resistance element, a first control terminal connected to the second resistance element, and a bias power terminal connected to the bases through a third resistance element.
