PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform unsuitability of cooking contents or a cooking container more clearly. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic cooker is provided with induction heating coils 3 and 4 arranged beneath a top plate 2 for placing the cooking container, heating power indicators 19 and 20 indicating heating power of the induction heating coils, heating condition indicators 14 and 15 indicating the operation condition of the induction heating coils, and a control circuit. The control circuit is provided with pot detection means 74 and 75 detecting whether the cooking container is placed on the induction heating coil in the top plate or not or detecting a material of the cooking container, and the control circuit is constructed so that the heating power indicator and the heating condition indicator are driven to be intermittently flashed when absence of a pot is detected by a pot detection means.
