A hinge for outdoor applications has a self lubricating operation in which a hinge pin is supported between one or more plastic sleeves. The plastic sleeves are pressed into each end of an outer support sleeve forming one part of the hinge. The hinge pin is clamped between upper and lower support grips and is secured at each end by clips. The plastic sleeves are lipped at one end to locate into the ends of the support sleeve. The metal components can be of stainless steel or of any suitable material.
