A non−aqueous electrolytic secondary battery comprising an electrode plate group,non−aqueous electrolyte,and an casing for accommodating the electrode plate group and the non−aqueous electrolyte.The electrode plate group comprises a positive electrode plate,a negative electrode plate,and a separator interposed between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate.The separator is formed of a polyolefin resin(1).The separator has at least one layer made of a polypropylene resin,(2)the layer made of the polypropylene resin contains an antioxidant having a melting point of not lower than 60°C,and(3)the layer made of polypropylene resin is in contact with the positive electrode plate.
