The invention relates to a connecting element (1) for connecting a catalytic converter (15) to an exhaust manifold (16) of an internal combustion engine. The connecting element (1) comprises a flange (2), which can be attached to the exhaust manifold (16), a tube (7) that, at one end, can be attached to the catalytic converter (15) and, at the other end, can be attached via the flange (2) to the exhaust manifold (16), and comprises a probe socket (10), which is located on the tube (7) and enables the attachment of a probe (20), e.g. a lambda probe for sensing the exhaust gas inside the tube (7), to the connecting element (1). The flange (2), tube (7) and probe socket (10) are provided as a one-piece component. |
