摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air ion measuring instrument for accurately measuring plus and minus ions so that they are correlated in terms of space and time. SOLUTION: In an air ion measuring instrument 1, a plus ion detection section 4 comprising a charge-collecting board 2 for collecting plus ions in the air and a repulsion electrode board 3, and a minus ion detection section 7 comprising a charge-collecting board 5 and a repulsion electrode board 6 for collecting minus ions in the air while being arranged side by side in an air-introducing pipe 8 that is the same as that of the plus ion detection section via an insulating layer 9, are arranged in the same air-introducing pipe 8. The number of plus and minus ions is measured by a measurement arithmetic means 12 for measuring each electric charge in the charge-collecting board for plus ions and that for minus ions, thus simultaneously calculating the number of plus ions and that of minus ions in the air in the same measurement path.
