The foam seat comprises a seat part and a back. One part of the seat surface comprises a first type of zone provided with a first covering (5) and a second type of zone (6) which does not have a covering. A groove (10) provided in the periphery of the second zone has a means (11) for the reversible connection of a second covering (7) intended to cover the second type of zone surface. An Independent claim is included for a method of making the seat covering.
