PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule manufacturing method that excels in mass- productivity while keeping forming accuracy. SOLUTION: This is a method for manufacturing a ferrule in which a pin hole for inserting a positioning pin and a plurality of fiber holes for inserting optical fibers are arranged in a plurality of stages at a prescribed pitch. While one end of a first forming pin 22 for forming the pin hole is positioned and held with a first and second dies 11, 15, and one end of a plurality of second forming pins 20b for forming fiber holes in a plurality of stages is positioned and held with a plurality of holding holes 19a, a synthetic resin is injected into the first and second dies to manufacture the ferrule.
