PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain heat exchange between one fluid and three or more fluids by one heat exchanger of compact constitution. SOLUTION: This plate type heat exchanger is constituted by stacking a plurality of heat exchanger plates 1 to form adjacent passages 2 between the respective heat exchanger plates 1, and allowing different fluid to flow in the mutually adjacent passages. A plurality of holes 12 are formed in a portion P or a header part H to be a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet of each of the heat exchanger plates 1, and the plurality of holes 12 formed in the portion P or header part H to be the fluid inlet and fluid outlet in each of the heat exchanger plates 1 are selectively used to allow heat exchange among four or more different fluids.
