PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermally-polymerizing and radioactively-polymerizing adhesive material capable of together joining a substrate of a display device and a protective substrate for the display device at a relatively low temperature and, moreover, having excellent high oxygen and water-vapor impermeabilities, to provide an adhesive sheet having excellent workability, and to provide the display device having a high quality level and high reliability. SOLUTION: The thermally-polymerizing and radioactively-polymerizing adhesive material contains (A) an epoxy resin and a hardener for the epoxy resin, (B) a polymer having functional groups and a weight-average molecular weight of≥100,000, (C) a compound generating a base when irradiated with radioactive rays, and (D) a hyperfine filler.
