PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo fixation assisting tool capable of fixing cargoes to the longitudinal direction of a container with ease and efficiency. SOLUTION: A cargo fixation assisting tool 20 consists of the side wall 27a of a dry container, and engagement materials that have a shape that detachably fits in each concave part of the side wall 27b, and a wear plate installed in such a way that each concave part of the engagement materials is closed, and connection materials that connect each wear plate so that it is spanned. In using it, the cargo fixation assisting tool 20 is installed in such a way that whose each engagement materials of the both ends is fit in the fixed concave part of the side wall 27a and 27b. Thereby, the cargo fixation assisting tool 20 is fixed to the horizontal direction to prevent a pallet 30 from moving to the longitudinal direction of the pallet 30 for a container loaded with a coil 29.
