<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-based ink for electrostatic ink jet that is excellent in discharge stability of the ink, clear image-forming properties and image strength and capable of forming a printing plate that allows printed matters having a clear image to be printed in a large number. <P>SOLUTION: The oil-based ink for the electrostatic ink jet at least contains copolymer resin particles obtained by polymerizing a solution containing (A) a monofunctional monomer that is soluble in a non-aqueous solvent and becomes insoluble upon polymerization, (B) a monofunctional monomer copolymerizable with the monomer (A) containing at least one amino group and at least one acidic group selected from a -PH<SB>3</SB>H<SB>2</SB>group and a -SO<SB>3</SB>H group in the same monomer, (C) at least one of monofunctional monomers copolymerizable with the monomer (A) having a substituent group containing a fluorine atom and/or a silicon atom, and (P) a dispersion stabilizing resin that is a polymer containing a specific component and is soluble in the non-aqueous solvent, in a non-aqueous carrier liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
