PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detecting circuit capable of outputting a voltage without delay time by instantaneously detecting a one-way current flowing in a wire, without the need to provide a rectifying part. SOLUTION: The current detecting circuit 1 includes a current-voltage converting part 2 having an isolation transformer for transforming a one-way current flowing in the wire 5 into a voltage; a voltage determining part 3 having a comparison circuit for causing the transformed voltage to be inputted to one of input terminals and a reference voltage to the other of the input terminals and for outputting a voltage from an output terminal when the transformed voltage exceeds the reference voltage; and a voltage output part 4 having an output resistance for outputting a certain voltage from the voltage outputted by the comparison circuit. The isolation transformer, the comparison circuit, and the output resistance are connected to one another and the current detecting circuit 1 is operated by the application of a positive voltage of a DC power supply.
