<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-cancer agent having less toxicity to normal cells and hardly causing adverse effects such as hematogenic disorder, and a healthy food containing the same. <P>SOLUTION: This anti-cancer agent contains at least ≥1 kind of food raw materials selected from a group consisting of a low striped bamboo extract, propolis, bracket fungus extract and soybean extract, and has a cancer cell propagation-inhibiting function. The anti-cancer agent contains at least ≥1 kind of food raw materials selected from a group consisting of a pine bark extract, the low striped bamboo extract, fucoidan, a yacon extract, a grape leaf extract and an elderberry extract, does not induce any adverse event, does not exhibit a toxicity to the normal cells, and has the cancer cell propagation-inhibiting activity and/or an immunoactivation function.
