PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge device for a door with excellent safety. SOLUTION: In this hinge device 1, a pivot shaft 10, a lever 50 and an operating screw 41 of an operating means 40 are fitted to a base 30 fixed into an opening 3 of a structure 2, and the lever 50 is swung by the operation of the operating screw 41 to project the pivot shaft 10 from the base 30 and to fittingly insert the pivot shaft 10 into a bearing 20 of the door 5, thus hanging the door. An auxiliary operating member 60 for fastening the tip side from the swing fulcrum of the lever 50 to the base side is installed between the base 30 and the lever 50, and the lever 50 in hanging the door is double-locked by the operating means 40 and the auxiliary operating means 60. The looseness of the lever 50 and the like is prevented by double locking to improve the stability of the pivot shaft 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
