PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulated handle structure on a foldable door excellent in strength and easy to carry out assembling work of it. SOLUTION: This foldable door device is constituted by connecting one each of vertical frames of two door bodies 8 free to revolve by a coupler frame 10 and connecting the other vertical frame of either one of the door bodies to a butting frame 7 provided on a building frame body free to move in the opening and closing direction of the door frame so as to fold in the door body 8 at the time of opening the door, a plate type metallic core part 29 for the handle is projected to the indoor side of a frame main body 7a of the butting frame 7, a surface on the indoor side of the frame main body 7a and the core part are covered with a synthetic resin made cover member 30, and a hand part 40 bent at a right angle from a head end of the cover member 30 is integrally formed.
