PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupler for a carrier capable of coupling a plurality of carriers. SOLUTION: This coupler is constituted of a female coupling tool 5A fixed on a side wall of the carrier 1A and a male coupling tool 5B fixed on a side wall of the carrier 1B. The female coupling tool 5A has links 21, 22 coupled by a link mechanism, receiving parts 30 fixed on tips of the links 21, 22, and a lever 27 connected with the link mechanism. The male coupling tool 5B has a pushing bar 60 and a pair of protrusions 61 arranged on both sides of base ends of the pushing bar 60 respectively. When the pushing bar 60 of the coupling tool 5B is pressed against the approximate center of the link mechanism of the coupling tool 5A, the respective tips of the links 21, 22 move in a direction such that they come close to each other and the respective receiving parts 30 receive the corresponding protrusions 61, and thereby, both the coupling tools 5A, 5B are connected and the carriers 1A, 1B are connected.
