PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position of a moving body so as to be capable of being specified precisely in both an ordinary road and an expressway. SOLUTION: The position display device for the moving body is provided with a GPS receiver 1 which receives radio waves of a GPS satellite, and which outputs a position signal specifying their received position; an error correction circuit 6 which computes a distance moved by the moving body until the radio waves of the GPS satellite are displayed after they have been received, and which outputs a correction signal; a storage circuit 3 which stores position data on a kilometer post installed at a road; a computing circuit 2 which computes the received position on the basis of the position signal by the GPS receiver 1, which computes a running position on the basis of the computed received position and on the basis of the correction signal to be input from the circuit 6, which specifies a nearby kilometer post on the basis of the computed running position, and which computes a relative distance from the specified kilometer post; and a display 4 on which the display kilometer number of the kilometer post specified by the computing circuit 2 and the relative distance from the kilometer post are displayed.
