<p>The invention relates to an arrangement for catalytic purification of exhaust gases, comprising an inlet channel (4) for supplying exhaust gases to a first catalyser unit (1) and further to a second catalyser unit (2, 3) arranged downstream of the first catalyser unit (1). The invention is characterized in that the cross-sectional area of the first catalyser (1) is less than the cross-sectional area of the second catalyser unit (2), and in that the inlet channel (4) has an extent which is slanted with respect to the longitudinal direction of at least the first catalyser unit (1). By means of the invention, an improved catalyser arrangement is achieved for purification of exhaust gases in a motor vehicle.</p> |
