PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load quantity measuring device for sucking work vehicle capable of indicating volume and weight of fluid materials sucked and reserved in a tank accurately and quickly in a sucking work vehicle such as a sludge collecting lorry and a night soil collecting lorry. SOLUTION: This device comprises: a sensor for detecting a distance from a mounting position thereof on the tank of the sucking work vehicle to an upper surface of the sucked and reserved materials in the tank; a calculating unit for calculating at least one of the volume or the weight of the sucked and reserved materials in the basis of a detected signal received from the sensor; and a display unit for displaying a value calculated by the calculating unit.
