PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper tray securely receiving paper fed from a printer and facilitating setting operation of the paper to the printer. SOLUTION: This paper tray has a paper tray body 3 with an upward opening container shape for receiving paper 2 fed from the upward printer 1 and comprises a ratchet holding means 4 for pivoting the paper tray body 3 free of oscillating around the shaft center in the right and left horizontal direction and for stopping and holding the paper tray body 3 in a plurality of predetermined oscillating attitudes.
