PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organohalide decomposition treatment system for achieving the perfect treatment of PCB-containing matter, for example, such as insulating oil or the like of a transformer or the like. SOLUTION: The organohalide decomposition treatment system is equipped with a heat exchanger 12 for subjecting high temperature and high pressure wastewater 10 discharged from a hydrothermal decomposition device 120 to heat exchange treatment to form wastewater 11 having a temperature of 100°C under atmospheric pressure, a gas-liquid separation means 14 for separating the gas component 13 in the wastewater 11 cooled to be set to atmospheric pressure, a cooling means 15 for cooling the gas component 13 from the gas- liquid separation means 14, a gas refining means 18 for refining the gas 16 passed through the cooling means 15 to obtain cleaned gas 17, an electrodialyzer 22 for separating the liquid component 19 separated by the gas-liquid separation means 14 into sodium chloride concentrated water 20 and desalted water 21 by electrodialysis and a drying means 24 for drying the desalted water 21 separated from the electrodialyzer 22 to obtain solid waste 23.
