<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the welding strength, and increase the productivity. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for a golf club head manufactures the golf club head 1 having a hollow section inside by bonding a plurality of split members P1 and P2 by welding. This manufacturing method includes a temporary assembling process wherein the plurality of split members P1 and P2 are fixed by pinching a gap-forming member 5 between the confronted bonding surfaces E1 and E2 of the split members P1 and P2 to be bonded. In this case, the gap-forming member 5 forms a gap 4 in which a welding metal can be filled by separating the bonding surfaces E1 and E2 by a small width. At least on one of the split members P1 and P2 or the gap-forming member 5, a positional slip-preventing section 9 which prevents a positional slip to the other from occurring is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
