<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the product ununiformity when manufacturing increasing freedom in designing. <P>SOLUTION: For a head main section 11, a side wall section 15 and a hosel section 16 which continue from the toe side to the heel side are integrally formed by casting on a sole wall section 14 which forms a sole section. This golf club head is formed by integrally welding such a head main section 11, a crown member 13 which forms a crown section, and a face member 12 which forms a face section. The face member 12 and the crown member 13 comprise a plastic worked article 20 which is formed by casting or press working. The face member 12 has bent sections 12a to 12d which bend backward at least at one section of the edge section of the face surface F. At a butted section wherein the bent sections and the crown member 13 or the head main section 11 are welded, a positional slip-preventing section 9 which prevents a positional slip between both members from occurring by engaging with each other is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
