PURPOSE: A gib adjusting apparatus is provided to adjust the gap conveniently by loosening and tightening the gib regularly with the single component, and to reduce assembling hours by adjusting the gap accurately. CONSTITUTION: A gib adjusting device is composed of a body(26) forming an external thread(30); a connecting unit(28) formed at the side of the body to fit a gib; and a head part(22) integrally formed at the side of the connecting unit to rotate the body and the connecting part. The gib adjusting device adjusts the sliding clearance of transferred bodies by controlling the gib. A hexagonal wrench groove(24) is formed in the head part, and a support part(32) is formed at the side of the connecting part. Assembling hours are reduced by adjusting the clearance between transferred bodies conveniently with the single component.
