PURPOSE: A private exchange system having an integration use environment and a control method thereof are provided to construct an integration use environment according to an additional function by possessing an additional device data processing unit to the private exchange system and manipulate information for using the additional function through a subscriber's own PC, thereby enhancing the functionality of the private exchange system considerably. CONSTITUTION: An initial state(S1) is progressed to a subscriber additional function information change authentication process(S2), so that a subscriber connects to an additional device management system of a private exchange system by using an integration environment program of a personal computer and confirms the authentication. Thereafter, the subscriber additional function information change authentication process is progressed to a management information change process(S3), management information on an additional device function of the private exchange system, such as registration, cancellation and inquiry and the like of the additional device function, are changed. Thereafter, the management information change process(S3) is progressed to a change management information application process(S4), so that the changed subscriber's additional function change information is transmitted and applied to the additional device. Thereafter, the change management information application process is progressed to the set additional function execution process(S5), so that the set subscriber's additional function is executed.
