PURPOSE: A method for batch change of passwords is provided to change passwords of servers simultaneously according to divided units by dividing IP addresses of servers according to predetermined units when the passwords are changed. CONSTITUTION: A terminal for a branch processor management receives various kinds of environment files from the total branch processor through an RLA server which comprises a parallel communication network as the unit of local area. The environment files include an xbpname.ini file to be used for changing a password of the RLA server. The terminal obtains information with respect to each RLA server from the xbpname.ini file using a shell script. The terminal supplies an RLA server selection screen for changing a password, an IP address selection screen of the RLA server, a password setting screen, and a process result screen for a manager. If the manager selects a corresponding RLA server on the RLA server selection screen and inputs an IP address of the corresponding RLA server on the IP address selection screen, an IP address list is arranged according to RLA servers. The manager inputs an ID, a previous password, and a password to be changed on the password setting screen. The terminal connects to a plurality of servers included in communication networks connected in parallel according to each local area, executes a log-in process by inputting an ID and a password, and changes the password.
