PURPOSE: A voltage regulation circuit is provided to regulate the high pumping voltage to the desired voltage level by the reference voltage which does not depend on the temperature, the process or the operational voltage. CONSTITUTION: A voltage regulation circuit includes a charge pump circuit(22), an oscillator(21), a diode chain(23), a comparator(24) and a precharge circuit(25). In the voltage regulation circuit, the oscillator(21) is driven in response to the output signal of the comparator(24) and the charge pump circuit(22) outputs the high voltage by pumping the power voltage in response to the output of the oscillator(21). The comparator(24) compares the voltage of the first node with that of the second node. And, the precharge circuit(25) controls the voltage of the high voltage pumping output terminal in response to the output signal of the comparator(24).
