PURPOSE: A method for connecting a call with a car owner by using a license plate number and a CTI(Computer-Telephony Integration) server for performing the same are provided to attempt a call by using an intermediate phone number, and then to input the license plate number, thereby directly connecting the call with the car owner though the car owner does not leave information for contact, such as a cell phone number. CONSTITUTION: A caller in the outside inputs an intermediate phone number left in a car on his/her mobile phone terminal and sends a call signal to a CTI server(S300). An ARS(Auto Response System) unit of the CTI server responds to the call signal(S310). The ARS unit guides the caller to input a license plate number of the car on the mobile phone terminal and transmit the inputted number to the CTI server(S320). A controller of the CTI server checks whether the number is correctly inputted(S330). If so, the controller searches a license plate number DB to extract information on an owner of the car(S340). The controller checks whether information of a license plate number of the car exists(S350). If not, the controller transmits a message to notify non-existence of corresponding information to the mobile phone terminal of the caller(S360). If information of the license plate number of the car exists, the controller extracts a mobile phone number of the car owner and delivers the extracted mobile phone number to an exchange, and the exchange transmits a call signal to the mobile phone number of the car owner(S370). If the car owner responds to the call signal, the exchange connects the mobile phone numbers of the car owner and the caller with each other(S380). |
