METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISPLAYING GRAPHIC ON TERMINAL USING OBJECTS

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for displaying graphic on a terminal using objects are provided to display graphic data on the terminal using the minimum quantity of data irrespective of the kind of the terminal. CONSTITUTION: Graphic data contents are received through a communication network(210). It is checked if the received graphic data contents include code graphic data(215). When the code graphic data is included in the graphic data contents, at least one of graphic display commands included in the code graphic data is decoded(225). Graphic data corresponding to the decoded graphic display command is displayed on a display(240). To generate the graphic data contents, the graphic data included in the graphic data contents is divided into at least one basic figure. Characteristic information corresponding to the basic figure is extracted and converted into code graphic data in the text form using a predetermined method. The graphic data contents including the converted code graphic data is transmitted to a user terminal through the communication network.
