PURPOSE: A system and a method for inquiring vehicle information using the RF(Radio Frequency), and a computer-readable recording medium storing a program are provided to verify a criminal vehicle based on the tag information by reading the tag information of an RF chip attached to the vehicle through an RF terminal, and to generate an alarm and stop the vehicle by controlling a function of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A police terminal(10) transmits an inputted request signal to the outside if the request signal for registering the criminal vehicle information is inputted from a policeman. The RF terminal(15) downloads the tag information of the criminal vehicle from the outside, reads the tag information attached to the vehicle through the downloaded tag information, and transmits a detection message to the outside if the criminal vehicle information matched with the read tag information is detected. A vehicle management server(30) includes a vehicle information data, constructs and manages a criminal vehicle database, and transmits an alarm generation signal and a stop control signal to the criminal vehicle corresponding to the detection message received from the RF terminal(15).
