<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL display device which can prevent such a feeling of physical disorder that a non-illumination area appears to be formed at, for example, the center part of a display panel from being given. <P>SOLUTION: On a glass substrate 1, a 1st electrode line of ITO is divided into two at its center part and a 1st group of electrode lines 2a<SB>1</SB>to 2a<SB>n</SB>and a 2nd group of electrode lines 2b<SB>1</SB>to 2b<SB>n</SB>are formed. Gap values A, C<SB>1</SB>, C<SB>2</SB>,..., B between light emission pixels formed from the part where the electrode lines of the 1st and 2nd groups face each other to both the outer sides are decreased in steps, and consequently such a feeling of physical disorder that a non- illumination area appears to be formed at the center part of the display panel is prevented from being given. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
