BRIGHTNESS ENHANCEMENT FILM AND BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY THEREOF

PURPOSE: A brightness enhancement film is provided to improve the brightness and to simplify the composition. CONSTITUTION: A backlight assembly comprises a lamp assembly, a light guide panel and at least one brightness enhancement film(30). The light guide panel guides light from the lamp assembly to the front face of a panel. The brightness enhancement film is located on the light guide panel. The brightness enhancement film scatters the light from the light guide panel. Thereby, the higher brightness enhanced ratio is obtained than a common brightness enhancement film of a DBEF-D(Dual Brightness Enhancement Film) method and the whole thickness of the film is reduced by eliminating an existing scattering film.
