<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a circuit configuration, to reduce required parts, to simplify control and to miniaturize circuit scale in a dual band communication device. <P>SOLUTION: In a portable telephone set 100, an external terminal T-1 and an antenna ANT20 provided for a W-CDMA system have also functions as an antenna for diversity reception of a PDC system.
