PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for storage device, a storage device used for the method, a disk array device and disk controller capable of performing efficiently data writing into a storage device, when controlling the data by multiplexing. SOLUTION: In the control method for storage device comprising a cache memory connected to a host device, a data controller for controlling the cache memory, a plurality of storage devices and device controller for controlling the storage devices, the storage device receives data transmitted from the higher- order devices and requests for writing of the data into the storage devices, the data controller writes directly the data into a plurality of areas on the cache memory and the device controller writes the data written to each area on the cache memory in the storage devices, corresponding respectively to the each area.
