PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the up-and-down deviation of the moving trajectory of a magnetic tape by preventing the positional deviation and the tilting of a reel rotationally driven in a tape cartridge in which a bearing is disposed in the hub of the reel for reducing rotative friction with a spring. SOLUTION: A passive part 17 which carries out recess-protrusion engagement in an up-and-down positional relationship with the drive part 26 of a driving shaft D at the side of a tape drive, and an insertion opening 18 which allows the entry of the support shaft 25 of the driving shaft D are provided on the bottom wall of the hub 12 of the reel 2. While the driving shaft D is connected with the reel 2, the support shaft 25 of the driving shaft D is fitted in the beating hole 19 of the beating 16, and rotates while the reel 2 is positioned via the bearing 16 by the support shaft 25.
