QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF TEICOPLANIN(TP) HAVING ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY

PURPOSE: A quantitative analysis of teicoplanin(TP) having antimicrobial activity is provided, thereby rapidly and cheaply analyzing the teicoplanin(TP). CONSTITUTION: An anti-teicoplanin antibody is prepared by forming a conjugate of glycopeptide family antimicrobial agent, teicoplanin(TP), and bovine serum albumin(BSA); forming an emulsion of the conjugate and an immunity adjuvant; immunizing a rabbit with the emulsion; and recovering the anti-teicoplanin antibody from the serum of the rabbit. The quantitative analysis of teicoplanin(TP) having antimicrobial activity comprises a competitive direct enzyme-linked immuno-sorbent assay(cdELISA) using the anti-teicoplanin antibody and teicoplanin-horseradish peroxidase(HRP), wherein teicoplanin is analyzed by the dilution of a sample containing teicoplanin without removing impurities.
