PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin and slender DC brushless motor of a nearly rectangular parallelopiped type in which cogging torque is reduced. SOLUTION: The DC brushless motor is equipped with a rotor 1 provided with a permanent magnet, a stator 2 constituted of an annular part 21 surrounding the rotor 1 along its outer peripheral surface, protruding parts 22-27 which are formed in an unified body with the annular part 21 and turn to a plurality of magnetic paths stretching outward, and coupling parts 48, 49 collectively coupled with the protruding parts, and regular wound square lines around bobbins 4a-4f engaged with the protruding parts and exciting them. The protruding parts are arranged almost parallel with one direction out of radial directions of the rotor 1. Lengths of two perpendicular directions in a section by a plane vertical to the one direction of the annular part 21 side end portion of the protruding parts are made greater than those of side end portions of the coupling parts 48, 49. The protruding parts have the respective almost pyramid type parts 28-33, and the coupling parts are provided with copper plates 56, 57 for changing a magnetic circuit in the coupling parts to the respective protruding parts.
