PURPOSE: A drive IC of a drum motor for a VCR is provided to enlarge a lead pitch by reducing the number of lead pins, thereby applying a large package and solving various problems related to soldering. CONSTITUTION: A drive IC of a drum motor for a VCR(Video Cassette Recorder) includes an amplifier used as an FG(Frequency Generator) and another amplifier used as a PG(Phase Generator), and four input lead terminals FG IN(-), FG IN(+), PG IN(+), and PG IN(-). The input lead terminals FG IN(+) and PG IN(+) are used in common to reduce the number of lead pins. A lead pitch of each input terminal is 1.2 mm, and 22 pin SOP form is applied.
