<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-transmission and reflection type electro-optical device capable of increasing display light quantity in both of the transmission and reflection modes, to provide an electronic equipment provided therewith, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: On a TFT array substrate 10 of the reflection type electro- optical device 100, a comparatively large contact hole 7b is formed in an upper layer insulating film 7a, a reflecting electrode 8a is electrically connected with a transmissive electrode 9a via this contact hole 7b. A transmissive window 8d is formed in the central part of the bottom 7c of the contact hole 7b in the reflecting electrode 8a, and also openings 8e are formed in the part covering the diagonally upward side walls 7e of the contact hall 7b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
