<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternative method for paper tray programming in a business printer. <P>SOLUTION: The method for paper tray programming comprises steps for selecting one of a plurality of print jobs, correlating predetermined print attributes thereof with a plurality of print media attributes of print media sheets stored in one or more than one independent print media trays, and assigning one or the plurality of predetermined print attributes to one of one or more independent print media trays if the plurality of predetermined print attributes have no correlation with the plurality of print media attributes of print media stored in one of one or more independent print media trays. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
