PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phenolic resin pulley which is excellent in weld strength and heat impact resistance, has excellent mechanical strength, and can suitably be used for automobile parts, general purpose machine parts, domestic electric appliance parts, OA equipment parts, and OA equipment peripheral parts or the like. SOLUTION: The phenolic resin pulley is characterized in that the pulley is comprised by molding a phenolic resin molding material containing, as essential ingredients, a resol type phenolic resin of 15-34 wt.%, a glass fiber of 46-75 wt.%, and polyvinyl acetal of 4-10 wt.% as an organic blended matter based on the whole molding material.
